  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #172614

    1 for $5.00; 500 tickets
    5 for $15.00; 1000 tickets
    50 for $25.00; 4000 tickets
    200 for $50.00; 8000 tickets
    500 for $100.00; 49994 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $9,749.40.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: December 31, 2026 at 10:00:00 a.m. PST

    Draw
    50/50 draw: December 31, 2026 at 12:00:00 p.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Lumara Office, 322 - 198 Island Hwy East Parksville, BC V9P 2G8

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://lumara.rafflenexus.com/winners on December 31, 2026.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the LUMARA Grief & Bereavement Care Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the LUMARA Grief & Bereavement Care Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    LUMARA Grief & Bereavement Care Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: info@lumarasociety.org. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at info@lumarasociety.org should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Every day, children, youth, adults, and families are navigating the unimaginable - the loss of someone they love or the weight of serious illness. In those moments, grief can feel isolating, overwhelming, and endless. LUMARA exists to gently remind them: they are not alone.

We are a community that honours every story of love and loss. Through compassionate counselling, peer support, and transformative programs and camps, we create safe spaces where people can share, connect, and begin to heal - at their own pace, in their own way.

Your support of this raffle helps bring light into some of life’s darkest moments. Proceeds will directly support children, youth, adults, and families, giving them access to care, connection, and the tools they need to move forward while carrying the love they’ve lost.

Together, we are building a community of belonging - where grief is met with understanding, healing is possible, and no one has to walk this journey alone.
